Knowledge Shares
We seek to create space for those committed to collective liberation, deep commitment to the earth, racial and social justice. We are thrilled to open our community barn, fields, and woods, as a workspace for in-person and virtual opportunities for collective working and community building.

Woven Roots Farm Visiting Guidelines
Woven Roots Farm is a working vegetable, flower, and herb farm with uneven terrain and inclines in varying areas. This is also an anti-racist, multi-racial, LGBTQ+ space where Black, Indigenous, people of color, and queer lives and voices are centered.
Finding the Farm: Please search for “Woven Roots Farm” in your map app of choice. That provides the most accurate directions to the farm. GPS coordinates are: 42°13'56.8"N 73°12'34.5"W. There is no cell service for the last 5 minutes of driving here. As long as the GPS is running before losing service, you will arrive here with ease!
Parking: The parking area is located to the left of the driveway and is one-way, starting at the second opening, marked by a sign that reads, "Parking." Accessible parking spots closer to the barn are also available. To access, make an immediate right when you pull in the driveway and drive up a small hill, almost past the barn. Parking is head-in, facing the road.
Animals: An elder, nearly deaf farm dog might be around to greet you in a quiet and friendly manner. Two friendly farm cats might also be around. No other furry companions are allowed on the premises. Please contact us if you have a service animal at community@wovenrootsfarm.com.
What to Expect: We will be gathering in a multi-purpose barn and community gathering space that is under construction. The main entrance ramp is not currently ADA-compliant. Currently, a composting toilet is available for use in an outside structure and is not ADA-compliant. If your visit includes being outside, please check the weather forecast in advance and plan accordingly. Consider layers, waterproof shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, and any other support you need to be present outside. Masks are optional. Air filters are active in the barn. If you or loved ones around you don’t feel fully healthy, please stay home.
