This event is a fundraiser for the Northeast Collaborative Beekeepers Network (NECBN), a regional network of beekeepers who work together to share knowledge, peer support, and resources. All proceeds go towards sustaining our network, now in its third year!
The NECBN is a grassroots coalition addressing the distinct challenges of building a resilient and equitable beekeeping industry in the Northeast, led by They Keep Bees, Island Bee Project, and Woven Roots Farm.
The Network’s approach is rooted in relationship, shared learning, and the practical skills beekeepers need to care for healthy colonies in a changing climate.
The Network supports small- to mid-scale beekeepers by equipping them with strategies, resources, and education on sustainable honey bee care. Simultaneously, the network fosters a community of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC beekeepers in the Northeast who share resources, skills, and bees.
Access note: The farm has inclines and uneven terrain. An accessible porta potty is available. The barn entrance ramp through the farm store has a 0-degree grade.
Exchange: $25-$500 (Learn more about our Equitable Sliding Pay Scale Here)
